James Anson Williams
Born 23 December 1837 in Lilly, Tazewell County, Illinois
Son of Isaac Jones Williams and Anna J. Hobson

Mary Elizabeth Linn
Born 27 February 1846 in Tazewell County, Illinois
Daughter of Seaman Linn & Martha J. Applegate

James served in the Civil War
Company I, 94th Regiment Illinois Infantry
1862-1864

Married in Pawnee, Nebraska
3 August 1875

They had 3 sons
Ross Oliver (1876), Roy Anson (1878), and Rolla Emmett (1880)

James died in Lilly, Illinois on 10 October 1910
Mary died in Wibaux, Montana on 17 August 1919

Both were buried in
Park Lawn Cemetery, Danvers, McLean County, Illinois
without tombstones

Neither the McLean Co. Genealogical Society
nor the Park Lawn Cemetery
have a record of the location of
James & Mary Williams graves
