“Christian Rupp, Sr managed the hotel. Several of his relatives were employed there, too. It was located at 601 Court Street Pekin, Illinois.  He sold it in 1911.  Judging by the age of the child in her mother's arms, it was taken in 1911…

The gentleman on the far right has always been cut off. We don't know who he is but probably a son.

The lady holding the baby is my great-grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Rupp [Shepler].  She is holding her first child, Nellie Shepler.  She is the daughter of Barbara and Christian Rupp, Sr.

The lady right in the middle, with the white collar, is Barbara "Nellie" Ellen Wineburner. (The wife of Christian Rupp who managed the Tremont Hotel.

The short man right behind Barbara is her son, Christian Rupp, Jr. (Bartender at the hotel)

Standing to Barbara's right is her daughter, Emma Rupp.  Next to Emma is her sister, Inez Rupp.

The one marked "Dad" is Daniel Shepler… The gentleman marked Uncle is probably Andrew Rupp.  The lady on the far right is marked 'Aunt Inez' but I have no idea who that is.

I suspect Christian Rupp, Sr. is the one taking the picture of his family but cannot prove it. A picture of Christian  is in your notable men section.”
