  • Added 2020 Marriage License Applications to Members Only Area.  Starting in 2020, Tazewell County Genealogical & Historical Society (TCGHS) is receiving the same daily feed of Marriage License Applications from the Tazewell County Clerk as is sent to local newspapers for publication. TCGHS Members may search this list in our Members Only Area.

  • Added Emden & New Holland Newspaper Archives to Members Only Area.  The Emden Historical Society and the  New Holland Historical Society allowed us to preserve their collection of almost 21,000 pages of the Emden News, New Holland Journal, and other local newspapers covering 1899 through 1979. Many of these newspapers had become so fragile they could no longer be safely handled.  The papers have now been microfilmed, digitized, are searchable, and have been placed in our Members Only Area.
