Amos Gerber (1864-1941) was married to Mary Birkey (1864-1953) on 17 October 1897 at Morton. They had just one son, Reuben, who never married.
Amos’ parents were Christian Gerber (1819-1907) and Anna Roth (1826-1887) who are both buried in the Railroad Cemetery in Elm Grove township.
Mary’s parents were Henry Birkey (1831-1918) and Magdalena Eigsti. Henry’s father, Valentine, is buried in the very historic Landes Cemetery in Elm Grove township.
